My father Mr. Hari Bahadur Saru works at Nepal airlines corporation in an officer level position. To motivate me he used to say that he would take me abroad for a trip. Accordingly, he also made a passport for me.
Based on that, we planned to visit Bangkok during this year’s Dashain and Tihar holiday. My father had completed all the necessary producers including obtaining the visa. The plan to leave for Bangkok had been finalized on 13th October 2025.
I had gone home to celebrate Dashain and returned back to Kathmandu to prepare for the Bangkok trip. Although our plan was for 13th October, due to certain reasons the date was changed to 10th October. Therefore, on the evening of 9th October we had packed our bags and luggage for the Bangkok trip. Then I went to bed at 11:00 pm with the dream of flying to Bangkok the next day.
First day:
On October 10th, we woke up early morning and did packing for going Bangkok. we ate our meal and went to airport at 9:00 am. At airport we met with Krishna sir and Rajan sir who are My father’s staff. Then we entered at departure terminal of Tribhuvan International airport. There we took boarding pass and went through security check and immigration. After that we went to waiting hall. Half an hour we sat at the waiting hall. We took off at 11:30 am by Nepal airline’s narrow body plane call sign 9N-AKW (it can carry 158 passengers including 8 business class). I was very excited because this was my first international trip and was flying by big aircraft. After one hour of flight the crew members (air hostage) gave us delicious lunch. The meal was delicious so I really enjoyed it. During the flight time I saw many beautiful view from window and I took some photos and videos too.
After 3 hours flight we landed at Subarnabhumi international airport of Thailand at 3:15 pm of local time. Then we went through security check and immigration. After that we went to the train ticket counter and bought ticket for me, my father and his 2 staffs. By train we reached at Happy guest hotel in Pratunam at 5:00 pm. After freshed we went out for shopping and returned hotel with some clothes, other items and dinner. We ate the dinner in hotel and slept at 11:00 pm. It was my first night at abroad.
Second day:
We woke up at 5:00 am and were ready to go to Safari world. A van came to pick up us from hotel at 8:00 am. We were altogether 8 people including driver and guide. After traveling nearly one hour we reached at safari world (Safari World is a large open zoo and entertainment park located about 40 km from central Bangkok. It was opened in 1988 and covers more than 4,000 square meters of land.
This park is divided into two main sections one is Safari park and next is Marine park. The safari park is open zoo where we can see wild animals roaming freely, such as lions, tigers, giraffes, zebras, bears, rhinos and many kinds of birds. Same way in the Marine Park, we can see animals shows and entertainment programs like dolphin shows, sea lion shows, orangutan boxing, birds shows and stunt performances. There are also many exhibits and restaurants.
After we entered the gate of Safari world (at 9:00 am), we saw many animals and birds like: Himalayan bear, giraffe, dear, elephant, flamingo, swan, tiger, lion, parrot, capybara, fishes, etc. We were only allowed to look them from inside the car. Nearly half an hour visits the Safari word section by car then we reached the next Park the Marine Park gate. Where the guide introduced us about the package detailly. Then We walked till we reached the orangutan show.
The crowd was very large the orangutans were very funny and made everyone laugh. After the show ended, we went to see the second show elephant show. In the elephant show the elephants were playing football, doing stunts and painting, they also threw water from their trunk. After the show ended, we went to see third show spy war show.
In the spy war show actors were firing guns bombs and other weapons. It was like an action movie. I enjoyed it. After half an hour the show ended then we went for lunch at Savana restaurant at 12pm, that restaurant was big, also the food was in much amount. We took our meal and then went for fourth show dolphin show.
In that show the dolphins were jumping, playing and showing stunts. The dolphins touched the ball high by jumping. Then we went to see the last show sea lion show. The show was same like the dolphin show but the sea lions were clapping with their fins and spinning ring like objects with their nose. After that we returned to the van and then hotel. We spent 6 hours in the Safari world from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
After freshing at hotel, we went to Market like Big C mall, Palladium world shopping mall, Central world, Pratunam street Market etc. and bought suitcase for my mom and smartwatch for me at Big C Mall. Then we came back to hotel, ate dinner and slept.
Third Day:
We woke up at 5:00 am and became ready to go to visit new place Pattaya. We went to look for a taxi to Pattaya City. Nearly 7:15 a.m. we started our travel to Pattaya city by reserve taxi. The two-way taxi fare was 2,000 baht (NR nearly 9,000). After travelling 2 and half hour we reached at Pattaya city. Pattaya city is one of Thailand’s most famous beach resort cities, known for its vibrant nightlife, beaches, shopping and entertainment options. After we reached there my father bought a sim card because we had to contact with taxi driver at Pattaya city after our visit of beach.
When we reached Pattaya city I saw real sea first time from my eye. There we took some clips for memory. After that we travel by big boat to Coral Island beach. Nearly 200 people were traveling on that boat. Coral Island beach is only 30-40 min away from Main Pattaya city by boat. This beach is ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
At the beach, firstly we took off our outer clothes and we took ticket for water bike (Jet Ski) ride in 700 baht (NPR 3000) for 15 min only. We share it for three person Krishna sir, Rajan sir and me for 5/5 min. First turn was mine, I rode the bike and got first experience. It was very enjoyable and exciting moment for me. We enjoyed it.
After that we did swimming all together. Krishna sir (staff of my Father) helped me to swim. Nearly an hour enjoying in the sea we returned back to Pattaya city at 12:00 pm.
We leave Pattaya city at 1:00 pm and reached hotel at 6: 00 pm and then freshed. After that we went to take dinner at Nepal-India food restaurant. We ate chicken rice and returned back to hotel. We slept at 11:00 pm.
Fourth Day:
This day was our last day of trip. So, we woke up early morning and did packing to return home. Then we went to last shopping to Bobae Market (Bobae market is one of Bangkok’s oldest and largest clothing market, popular among locals and traders). We bought some clothes and fruits there. Next to the market is Bobae tower, a wholesale Mall. At that mall Most shops sell wholesale (minimum 3-5 pieces) but many allow single items too at a slightly higher price.
After visiting nearly two hours we returned back to hotel and went to yesterday’s restaurant Nepal-India restaurant to take meal and then we returned to the same hotel where we stay.
It was heavily raining, so the plane got delayed 2 hours. We boarded at 6:00 pm (4:45 pm of Nepal) of local time. I had to sit 16D with Chinese person on the plane because my seat with my father 11D was near emergency exit door. So, crewmember requested to me change the seat. They said that children could not sit on that seat due to safety reasons.
In the flight time crew member gave us meal, this was made in Thailand so; I didn’t like it much because it was not so tasty like Nepali food. This flight was night time so, we saw beautiful lights view from the plane’s window.
We landed at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu at 9:00 pm. Then we went through immigration and security check. After that we waited for the luggage, after getting luggage we came outside the arrival terminal and came back to our room by my father’s staff’s car.
Finally, we entered our room at 10:30 pm after completing our four days Bangkok trip. I called my mom and relatives to inform that we reached at our room. For a such trip and opportunity, I am thankful to my father.
